A Caution about Third-Party Bill Payment Sites
We advise Jackson EMC members to be cautious about using third-party sites to process monthly bill payments. Typically, a third-party online payment service allows consumers to pay multiple bills, including those from utility providers, to a site that is not associated with Jackson EMC. Some of these third-party sites use our logo and colors to make you think you’re dealing with us, but Jackson EMC is not affiliated with any online payment service. When you use these services, there’s no guarantee when your payment will be processed, which could result in an interruption in your electric service if Jackson EMC receives your payment after its due date. Also, third-party payment sites often charge processing and other fees for using their service. We encourage members to pay power bills directly to Jackson EMC.
