PrePay

Want to be in control of when you'll pay for your electric use? Jackson EMC's PrePay program allows you to decide when you'll pay for electricity and how much. Instead of paying monthly for electricity after you use it, PrePay allows you to make smaller payments before you use electricity. It's a flexible option for members who want to be in control of their account.

For detailed information about PrePay, view the PrePay Service Agreement.

General Information

PrePay is an option to pay for your electricity before you use it. Think of it like filling up your gas tank. You pay for the amount you need and use electricity as you normally do. When your account balance gets low, or starts getting close to empty, you’ll get notifications and you can add funds to your account through the MyJacksonEMC website or mobile app, our 24/7 payment kiosks, phone system or a cashier at a local office.

To enroll or switch to PrePay, call us at 1-800-462-3691, Monday-Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
