Employees Volunteer Their Time, Energy and Resources
Jackson EMC employees put the cooperative principle of “Concern for Community” in action by volunteering their time and resources for local organizations within our 10-county service area. Our employees have joined Habitat for Humanity builds, filled backpacks for weekend food programs, sorted food donations at food pantries, mentored at-risk youth, and painted a non-profit thrift store. Our engineering employees serve as volunteer science fair judges. Additionally, our employees annually participate in more than 20 5K races benefiting local non-profits.
Many Jackson EMC employees serve as committee members and officers of area chambers of commerce and service and civic organizations, such as the Gwinnett Student Leadership Board, Rotary Club, Lions Club, The Tree House, Boys & Girls Club, and Legacy Mentoring.
