(JEFFERSON, GA, July 29, 2016) – A paving project underway at Jackson EMC’s Jefferson campus at 850 Commerce Road will close the southern-most entrance, along with the drive-thru and after-hours drop box, starting on August 5. Weather permitting, the entrance, drive-thru and drop box will reopen August 24.
“We apologize for the inconvenience this puts on members, but this project gives us the chance to make our parking areas and driveways better and safer for everyone who uses our facilities,” said Joe Hicks, Jefferson District Manager. “Weather permitting, we’ll be open on schedule or possibly even sooner.”
Members who need to conduct business at the Jefferson office should look for signs directing them to the north entrance from Commerce Road, and should park in the designated area in front of Building 2000. During the paving project, payments will only be accepted in the lobby during normal business hours, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday –Friday.
Members may also mail payments to P.O. Box 100, Jefferson, Ga. 30549, or pay online or by phone 24/7 by visiting www.jacksonemc.com or calling 1-800-325-8597 (there is a convenience fee for online and phone transactions).
