How It Works:

1. Call your local Jackson EMC office and ask for a residential marketing representative to set up your appointment.
2. A Right Choice High Tech Audit technician comes to your home for a consultation and explanation of the tests.
3. The technician conducts the tests, which take approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
4. You then receive a computer-generated prioritized list of recommendations to improve your home's performance.
5. The technician will give you a recommendation for a qualified contractor in the network to contact to estimate the costs of making your improvements.
6. After your improvement work is completed, your home will undergo follow-up testing.
7. If your home is electric, once it passes the test, it will qualify for Jackson EMC's special Right Choice electric rate.
