The Lewis Family, which has performed bluegrass gospel music for more than 50 years, will perform at the Jackson EMC Annual Meeting September 27. Come see the Georgia natives belt out their award-winning songs. The group, which has recorded more than 60 albums, was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 1992, received the Grand Ole Gospel Reunion's Living Legend Award in 2000, and was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in Nashville in 2005. The group's most prestigious award came in 2006 when The Lewis Family inducted into the IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) Hall of Honor.
