The cooperative supports area community organizations and programs.

Jackson EMC financially supports organizations within its 10-county service territory.

The company evaluates community needs and makes contributions to support programs that are making a difference in the lives of Jackson EMC members.

Each district office makes donations within the counties that are served by that district. The programs and organizations that receive funds are educational, safety and youth-related programs that serve the counties.

Through the Corporate Contributions program, we support programs and organizations that touch multiple districts in the areas we serve.  Contributions are made to agencies and organizations such as Boys Scouts of America, Girls Scouts of Historic Georgia, Habitat for Humanity, Georgia FFA Foundation, American Red Cross and Newspapers in Education Program, to name a few.

Some major sponsorships include the Taste of Jackson and City Lights Festival, Ag Day events, plus business expos; State and Regional Science and Engineering Fairs; Newspapers in Education; FFA State Wiring Contest; Quality Beef Show and Chambers of Commerce events.
