Jackson EMC offers three academic and/or need-based scholarships for current high school and college students: the Walter Harrison Scholarship, the A.T. Sharpton-Gainesville College Scholarship; and the A.T. Sharpton Unrestricted Scholarship. Applications are due January 25, 2008.

High school juniors and seniors are invited to apply for the Jackson EMC Youth Citizenship Award. The winning student receives a $2,000 scholarship, a $1,000 grant for his or her school or favorite civic organization, and the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. as a Jackson EMC delegate. Applications are due February 29, 2008.
