Organizations and Agencies Can Benefit from Operation Round Up

Jackson EMC sponsors a wide variety of organizations and programs in the communities we serve. We will continue supporting these organizations, and now through Operation Round Up®, Jackson EMC members can join together to do even more.

In addition to individual support, nonprofit organizations and agencies can apply for Operation Round Up funds for specific programs or projects. Grant amounts for organizations can go up to $15,000, allowing us to support those special projects that we otherwise may have turned down. If 75 percent of the membership participates, you could make a significant impact in our communities!

Our cooperative heritage and values - people coming together to help their neighbors - led us to introduce Operation Round Up. Over 65 years ago, local residents came together to form Jackson EMC to get electricity to their homes and farms. It was something they couldn't do individually.

Now, through Operation Round Up, local residents can come together to create change in their communities through a foundation - something they couldn't do individually on this scale. It's difficult to make that kind of local change even through large, for-profit organizations.
