After a fast-paced academic bowl, Brad Hamilton of East Hall High School in Gainesville captured the coveted Energy Bowl winner title.

Brad will serve as one of two Washington Youth Tour delegates for Jackson EMC.

Brad is very active in his high school, serving as an active member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Math Club, Mu Alpha Theta, and the Math and Academic Teams. No stranger to academic competitions, Brad competed in the North Georgia College and State University math tournaments, Georgia Math League contests and the American Mathematics Competition test. In 2002, Brad attended the Academic Competitions Enterprise Camp held at Furman University where he was a math/science major.

In his time away from school and rigorous academic competition, Brad is committed to community service through volunteer work in his church and helping elderly neighbors. The son of John and Teresa Hamilton, Brad plans to attend Georgia Tech after graduation.
