Apparatus/Load Management Supervisor, Jefferson Office

This position supervises the apparatus and load management areas within the Technical Services Department. Duties in the apparatus shop include scheduling maintenance and repair of electrical transformer, breakers, regulators and other electrical equipment used by Jackson EMC. Additional duties in the apparatus shop will include maintaining all equipment maintenance records and equipment inventory. Duties in the load management department include scheduling installation and maintenance of load management switches and operating the load management system.

The successful will have a 4-year college degree with a minimum of 2 years experience in repair and maintenance of utility electrical equipment. Experience with Microsoft Office software is required.

Electronics Specialist, Jefferson Office

Duties for this position include, but not limited to, installing and maintaining Mitel PBX equipment at various Jackson EMC offices. Experience in VOIP phone systems is desired. Additional duties will include maintaining a Harris 6 GHz microwave system and other equipment associated with Jackson EMC's microwave system. Occasional night and weekend work will be required.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience in maintaining telephone PBX equipment and/or experience in 6 GHz digital microwave equipment and must have a two-year associates degree in electronics or related field.

District Distribution Engineer, Gwinnett Office

This position is located in our Gwinnett District office in Lawrenceville.  A degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology is required with emphasis in the field of electrical power distribution is desirable.  Applicant should have experience in electrical distribution engineering design, and system layout, power requirements and related specifications and codes.  Position will provide technical assistance on the design and construction of the Cooperative's distribution system as well as providing technical assistance to both individual customers as well as our large power customers.
