EMC Security

EMC Security ranks among the top 100 security companies in the country according to the 15th Annual Security Distributing and Marketing (SDM) magazine's top 100 list. SDM ranks the companies based on their total gross revenue from security system sales and installation, service leasing and monitoring. Other indicators, such as recurring monthly revenue and residential and commercial installations, also rank them. This year, EMC Security ranked 69, up from their 2004 ranking of 76. Be sure to visit EMC Security in the Energy-Efficient Living tent.

Energy-Efficient Appliance Giveaway

Each year, Jackson EMC and Hill's Ace Hardware give away an energy-efficient appliance. This year, one winner will receive an Advantium® Oven — an $800 value. Be sure to enter to win, and learn more about energy-efficient appliances in the Energy-Efficient Living tent.

Just outside the tent, the Associated Credit Union (ACU) provides information on your family's financial needs. You can also win a surprise electronic item in their door prize offering. Don't miss it.

Georgia Magazine will also be there, so be sure to stop by its booth.

Healthy Living

Don't have time for those regular checkups or doctors' visits? No problem — drop by the Health Fair and get everything from massages to blood sugar tests. There's no charge for most services, and a small fee for some. Each of the first 500 participants will receive a pedometer. A pedometer senses your body's motion and counts your footsteps. The count is then converted into distance. For example, generally about 2,000 steps equals one mile (depending on your stride length). Wear it all day, every day, or during your walking workouts.

Remember to enjoy your barbecue dinner on the premises.
