Cooperative Sponsors TEAM Georgia at the Arena at Gwinnett Center

Visitors enjoying concerts and special events at the Gwinnett Arena can now become official designated drivers at the TEAM Georgia booth. Sponsored by Jackson EMC, the TEAM Georgia booth serves as the registration area for designated drivers. The drivers receive a designated driver button, a coupon for a free, non-alcoholic drink and a chance to win a prize drawing.

Started in 1995 at the Georgia Dome, the TEAM Georgia Designated Booth program is now in four of Georgia's event venues, including Philips Arena, Turner Field and the Arena at Gwinnett Center. The program urges patrons attending events to ensure their group a safe ride home by pledging to be the designated driver. Staffed by TEAM Georgia volunteers, to date the booth program has registered 20,842 designated drivers this season, and Jackson EMC is proud to be the sole sponsor at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.
