Randall Pugh, president/CEO, accepted a very special award for Jackson EMC from the Department of Labor.

The award was presented to the cooperative for its programs and efforts dedicated to the prevention of racial and sexual harassment.

Jackson EMC was the only company in the southeast region, and one of three companies in the country to receive the award. In the area of prevention of racial and sexual harassment, this award is the highest honor given by the Department of Labor.

Jackson EMC will be added to the permanent Honor Roll Plaque, which is housed at the Department of Labor in Washington, D.C.
