Members looking for the multi-family lifestyle can now make the Right Choice in Gwinnett.

When completed, Bostic's condos and apartments will resemble their sister community, Guilford Crossing in Greensboro, N.C.

Bostic Construction, Inc., a Greensboro-based multi-housing construction and development company, recently started building in Lawrenceville. The Retreat at Philip Boulevard, a condominium community, and The Chadwick apartment community will be located off Highway 316 and adjacent to the Gwinnett Medical Center.

The first multi-family builder to partner in the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star® program, Bostic saw the Right Choice program as the perfect complement to its commitment to energy efficiency and guaranteed comfort. "The decision to move to the next level with Right Choice reinforces Bostic's practiced beliefs of energy conservation, allowing these two projects to qualify in both the Energy Star Homes program and the Jackson EMC Right Choice program. We recognized early on that building energy efficient homes allows us to pass energy dollar savings on to our homebuyers and renters. Featuring a unique layout plan, the 1,450-square-foot condominiums will be one story, while the buildings will be three stories. Priced between the $150s-180s, The Retreat will have 120 units within five buildings, with vistas overlooking a pond. Scheduled for completion in early 2005, the community will feature garages, elevators, fireplaces, garden tubs, walk-in closets and much more.

The Chadwick apartments will consist of 10 buildings with 240 units. There will be 84 one-bedroom units, 138 units with two bedrooms and 18 units with three bedrooms. The apartments are scheduled for completion in October 2004. Rents will start at approximately $900 a month.
