Sign up for Time-of-Use Rate by May 15

You can sign up for special billing and receive a much lower rate for using electricity during off-peak hours. With the Time-of-Use Rate, the more off-peak electricity you use, the more you save.

Designed for members with flexible lifestyles, the Time-of-Use program provides a lower electric rate for reduced electricity consumption from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays from June 1 thru September 15. Reducing energy usage during summer peak demand periods helps us control the high cost of producing electricity in the summer.

How It Works

Avoid operating high-energy-use equipment like air conditioners and electric water heaters during peak hours. You'll receive a lower billing rate per kilowatt-hour.

In order to see the maximum benefits of Time-of-Use, you should stay on the rate for at least 12 months. If the plan doesn't work for your lifestyle, you can always revert back to the general rate at any time. For more information, please contact your local office or click here.

Service Charge* plus All On-Peak kWh** - 30¢/kWh

Service Charge plus All Off-Peak kWh - 4.85¢/kWh

* Service charge does not include taxes or Wholesale Power Cost Adjustment.

** On-Peak is a four-month period, June 1 - September 15, Monday - Friday, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. (holidays excluded)
